Monk Plane of Sky Tests

Verant/SOE

You say, 'Hail, Holwin'

Holwin says, 'Peace to you. I see that you have come far along the path of tranquility and enlightenment. Do you wish to test yourself further, and perhaps complete the path you started on so long ago?'

You say, 'I wish to test myself further and complete the path of tranquility and enlightenment'

Holwin says 'Then, choose. Do you wish to be tested by Ton Po or Wu?

You say, 'I wish to be tested by ton po'

Holwin says 'Take this book and read about the legendary Ton Po. When you are finished, hand it back, and I will summon the master for you.

Holwin says 'Farewell.

Ton Po says 'Peace to you, my child.

You say, 'hail Ton Po'

Ton Po says 'So, I have been called upon to test you, and test you I shall. I will give you the option of choosing your test though, enlightened one. Shall you take the test of strength, sight, or speed or would you like to see something new I have just gotten.

You say, 'I would like to see something new'

Ton Po says 'I am currently looking for Mystical Back Straps that I've misplaced. If you could find one Ill be glad to compensate you for it.

Ton Po says 'So be it, the test of strength you shall have. Bring to me a verdant tessera, some finely woven gold mesh, and some silken strands. The task will not be easy, but it should serve as an adequate test of strength, for one of your abilities.

Ton Po says 'The test of sight is a test of both body and mind. The mind will allow you to see that which is usually invisible. Bring me a gold disc, a tiny ruby, and a cracked leather eyepatch and I will assist you in seeing what should not be seen.

Ton Po says 'The test of speed. Every monk must be swift if he is to best his opponent. Speed in both mind and body is essential in many facets of life. Return to me an adumbrate globe, a shimmering opal, and some dove slippers and I shall aid your speed of mind.

You say, 'I choose Wu'

Holwin says, 'Return this tome if you wish me to summon Wu the Enlightened to assist you. Destroy it if you do not.

Holwin says, 'Farewell.

Holwin says, 'I am no longer needed and will take my leave

Wu the Enlightened says 'Peace to you, my child.

You say, 'Hail, Wu the Enlightened'

Wu the Enlightened says 'Greetings Warrior of mind and body. To prove your worth to me, you must complete a test. Which test do you wish to take? I will permit you to take the test of Tears, Fists, or Tranquility.

You say, 'yes I am interested in trade'

Wu the Enlightened says 'I am searching for my weapon Wus Tranquil Fist. It seems there has been a complaint made about their performance so I have taken some steps to improve them. If you bring what I've asked you will be rewarded.

Wu the Enlightened says 'The test of tears involves knowing when to release, and when to provide a shoulder for another. Bring me a spiroc statuette, a spiroc talon, and a silken wrap. I will teach you the way.

Wu the Enlightened says 'A monk must know when to use his or her fists, and when to use the mind. In this endeavor, you must decide which you shall use. Return to me, once you have found them, a pair of brass knuckles, a white spiroc feather, an ethereal amethyst, and a nebulous sapphire.

Wu the Enlightened says 'Ah, the test of tranquility. Only the tranquil monk can achieve enlightenment. Are you such an individual? Time shall tell. Retrieve these items for me. Bring an aged nectar, a Writ/Decree of Quellious, and a Tear of Quellious. Then we shall assess your ability.
