You say, 'Hail, Roesager Thusten'

Roesager Thusten says 'Hail, ______! My name is Roesager Thusten, Paladin of Life. I am a loyal servant of the Prime Healer and I seek to destroy all who wish to bring death and disease to the land of Norrath.'

You say, 'Who brings disease?'

Roesager Thusten says 'The Plaguebringers are followers of the disease lord, Bertoxxulous. We believe a sect of them now operates in Qeynos, but we need proof before we can act.'

You say, 'Who is Bertoxxulous?'

Roesager Thusten says 'Bertoxxulous is a vile creature who rules the Plane of Disease. His filthy followers are spreading their stain across all of Norrath. We fear they are already here in Qeynos.'

You say, 'What Plaguebringers?'

Roesager Thusten says 'The Plaguebringers are followers of the disease lord, Bertoxxulous. We believe a sect of them now operates in Qeynos, but we need proof before we can act.'

You say, 'What proof?'

Roesager Thusten says 'Someone reported seeing a Plaguebringer roaming about in the hills near Qeynos. We have long suspected that their dark influence was spreading. I am searching for proof that they are now here in Qeynos. If you find anything, please bring it to me at the Temple of Life.'

You say, 'Hail, Gharin'

Gharin says 'Good day! I see they have good stock for the future armies of Qeynos. I, myself, wish to be a soldier one day instead of doing this [job].'

You say, 'What job?'

Gharin says 'I am a [messenger] for Antonius Bayle. Not big enough to fight, but light enough to run all the way to the [Jaggedpine] tomorrow morning. I sort of wish I did not have to go. I'd rather be at the Lion's Mane.'

You say, 'Where is the Jaggedpine?'

Gharin says 'I will be taking a private note to the head druid of the Jaggedpine Treefolk. Matter of fact, I am carrying the note right now. But enough about that, if it were not for the mission tomorrow, I could be doing something at the [Lion's Mane].'

You say, 'What is the Lion's Mane?'

Gharin says 'Ahh. The Lion's Mane. If I were there, I would be enjoying a stein of Crow's [special brew]. They are expecting their first shipment of the brew. I believe if I had a few or more of those lagers, I would be very ill. I would probably have to have someone else deliver the note for me. Still, I wish I had one of those fine brews.'

Gharin says 'Oohhh! My head. Stop the pub from spinning. I cannot make it to the Jaggedpine feeling like this. Please take this note to Te'Anara of the Treefolk. Here is a little silver for the favor. Thanks. Ooohhhh..'

You receive A Sealed Letter (identifies as "Note To Jaggedpine"). It reads:

Te'Anara, I have spoken to the merchants guild of Qeynos. We have agreed to increase the tax on all bearskins. The Qeynos Guard shall also be apprehending all known poachers for extradition to the Jaggedpine. Signed, Antonius Bayle

You say, 'Hail, TeAnara'

TeAnara says 'Welcome, friend! I hope your stay in Surefall Glade will ease your mind and soothe your soul. While you are here, we ask you to abide by the [laws of the Jaggedpine].'

TeAnara says 'Aye! This is good news. We shall try to supply Qeynos with a limited number of acres to begin their lumberyard. Here, my good messenger. A token to share in the good news.'

The note is called "A Sealed Letter" (identifies as "A Letter to Opal"). It reads:

Opal-- Things are moving ahead on schedule. The sewer complex is complete and we have begun to gather forces. We are concerned about the Lifers' interference. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. --- S'ragg

You say, 'Hail, Roesager Thusten'

Roesager Thusten says 'Rodcet be praised!! This is what we have been searching for! On behalf of the Temple of Life, let me thank you and offer you this small reward for your aid in our war against the Plaguebringer.'

Sragg Bloodheart says, 'What have you brought me, worm? Hmm.. This is disappointing. That Tovax has failed us for the last time. Your loyalty to Bertoxxulous and the Bloodsabers has been noted. Now, if you will excuse me a moment..

Tovax Vmar says, 'Huh? What the.. oh, no.. S'ragg!! PLEASE!! NO!! Bertoxxulous save me!!'

Sragg Bloodheart says, 'I will hear no more excuses, Tovax! Enjoy eternal pain and suffering!'

Tovax Vmar says, 'Oh yeah that's mine. Thanks chump... I mean chum. Here's a little something for you.'
