Today's journey through the Commonlands was fairly uneventful. In the late afternoon, I saw a most magnificent beast. It had the body of a lion and the head of an eagle and it flew ever so gracefully. A local innkeep called it a Griffin. June 29th - East Commonlands

This place is cold and dreary, I'm happy that I'm only passing through. I should be in Freeport by sundown. I'm so excited.
