This book is titled "History of the Runnyeye Goblins, Vol. I". It chronicles the history of the goblins from their creation to the exodus from their homelands.
1 GE - The creations of Rallos and The-Brell-That-Is-Not, the goblins were brought into the world. Gathering together as the One Clan, the goblins would create a society that would flourish within their cavernous world.
200 GE - The form of an enormous goblin would appear before the Enlightened Council and present itself as the Avatar of War. The Avatar would demand of the goblins an oath that would bind every following generation. In return for the oath, the goblins would be allowed continued existence.
900 GE - The first schism among goblin society would happen at the death of the Great Chief. His twin sons would fight for succession over the throne, dividing the goblins into two separate camps. Many glorious battles would be fought during what would be called The Two Chiefs.
930 GE- The Two Chiefs would end during a duel to the death between the twins. The victor emerged from the duel and proclaimed himself as both himself and his twin. The warring camps, not being able to tell the difference between the two, followed the new Great Chief as if he were their victorious leader.
215 RGE- The Crumbling would cause the goblins to leave their home behind. Many goblins would perish during the Crumbling and those that survived would begin the Long Journey. Many years of hardship would pass as the Mass Exodus would search for a new home.
30 PC -The One Clan would see its first separation caused by the Long Journey. While passing through a system of lava channels, a group of goblins would express that they wished to settle down where it was warm. The remaining clan did not agree, leaving this group to live among the fire.

The Battle of Bloody Kithicor Part 1 - Nurgal's Stone
The goblins of the Pickclaw tribe were not known for their wit. In fact, because of their extreme lack of intelligence, they have been abused in trades by just about every merchant in Norrath. If one were to wonder why the citizens of High Keep permit the clan to live in the mines beneath their homes, the answer is quite simple, they are good miners and they trade the ores cheaply.
The goblins would slave day in and out looking for the "shiny rocks" for which the stupid humans gave them coin. The fact that these same rocks actually made the coin is a feature that has escaped them thus far.
In addition to the humans of Highpass Keep, the goblins also make secret trades with both the Teir'Dal of Neriak and the Fier`Dal of Faydwer. The Teir'Dal would reward the goblins with decent arms and generally paid the best. They were dangerous to deal with as they were just as likely to kill you as pay you. Trading with the Fier`Dal was rather uncommon. The Fier`Dal only came seeking the few rare stones they used to create their arcane runes, which was fine for the Pickclaws as no one else wanted those dull looking rocks.
The Pickclaw miner Nurgal was on par intellectually with of the rest his clan. Nurgal was quite happy this day as he had found a new vein in his section of the mines. In fact, he'd already pulled three shiny yellow bricks today and was sure to get at least a fistful of copper for them! After chipping a few more layers he hit something very hard with his pick, so hard that his pick bent.
"Whaza!" he exclaimed.

…It must have snapped when the falls hurled us against the rocks. The bleeding has ceased, and Barleyburr has placed a splint around my leg. We sit in the half-light of a damp tunnel near the waterfall cavern. We can hear hollow stamping upon the bridge of the walking tree and its goblins as they search the basin of the falls below them.

…If you ever read this, Thistlebrush, you will know my rage. You will see it in every jagged stroke my pen makes. The goblins found us. Barleyburr stood with my sword brandished, ready to defend me, but the large goblin with a club knocked the weapon away and threw Barleyburr to the ground. I could do nothing, so weak was I with loss of blood.

…I should have kept a closer watch on Barleyburr. Ham? Of all the stupid things he could have done, carrying a pack full of it into a forest infested with bears was likely the worst. Last night we crawled beneath the forest brush and peered behind the rocks and branches, scouting a breach in the hillside.
