You say, 'Hail, Drill Master Vygan'

Drill Master Vygan says 'I am a Drill Master of the Legion of Cabilis. I have no time for idle chitchat. Be off if you were not summoned to this fortress! Find that guild which was chosen for you as an egg.'

You say, 'What militia pike?'

Drill Master Vygan says 'The pike is the prime weapon of Cabilis warriors. It can be upgraded, too, such as from the partisan pike to the militia pike and beyond. All these pikes may be slung on one's back when your hands are needed for other pursuits. To upgrade a pike is something that is learned, but it can never be performed without a [geozite tool]. Do you [desire to upgrade the partisan pike]?'

You say, 'What geozite tool?'

Drill Master Vygan says 'The Geozite Tool is used to sharpen the pikes of the Legion of Cabilis. Only it can produce the serrated edges necessary for these deadly weapons. They are not handed out to just any broodling. The tool is only given to warriors who serve the legion. Do you [want a geozite tool]?'

You say, 'I want a geozite tool.'

Drill Master Vygan says 'Then take this satchel and go to the outer walls of Cabilis and seek out large scorpions. When you can fill and combine the satchel with scorpion pincers, then you shall prove to me that you are truly a warrior and I shall send you off on your true test.'

Drill Master Vygan says 'You are a true warrior of Cabilis. You obviously are aware that in order to upgrade your pike you shall need a [geozite tool]. Take this note to the Lord of the outer gates. He desires a young warrior for a small task. Do this and he is instructed to reward you with the tool.'

You say, 'Hail, Warlord Hikyg'

Warlord Hikyg says, 'What business do you have speaking to an Iksar Warlord? Be gone before you find yourself served as my evening meal. Go to Captain Nedar if you wish to assist my garrison. Fool.'

Warlord Hikyg says, 'It is about time they sent some lackey to perform tasks too paltry for my troopers to deal with. We need to punish those who dare to run from their servitude. You will need this bag. Are you [prepared to hunt escaped froglok slaves] and serve your lord?'

You say, 'I am prepared to hunt escaped froglok slaves'

Warlord Hikyg says, 'Of course you are. They can be found running in packs along the edges of the city gates. Find the escaped frogloks and slay them. Take their slave shackles and throw them in the bag I have given you. When it is filled and combined, return it to me. My concern is only for those who have escaped into the swamp. This is my land and I have been ordered to keep its denizens under control.'

Apparently, someone or something has been raising militia corpses and they now walk the land not knowing the difference between friend or foe. They even continue using their old call, 'Halt Who goes there?'. Fill and combine within the box their charred bone shards and return the filled box to me for your geozite tool.'

Warlord Zyzz says, 'Great work! You have helped keep the gate safe. I reward you with the geozite tool. You may find its purpose within Cabilis' warriors guild. A true Iksar warrior should always have one.'

Warlord Vyzer says 'I am glad to see they have sent a strong new recruit. I have a task for you which will require you to recover a few pages of a certain poem I once wrote. I never should have written of such weak-minded things, but the pages were stolen from me before I could destroy them. Take this poem binder and find the [thieves]. When you combine the pages in the binder, it will magically lock and you may return it to me for your prize, the geozite tool.'
