You say, 'Hail, Weligon Steelherder'

Weligon Steelherder says 'Hail, ______! This is the Deepwater Temple. Here you shall find the wisdom and courage of Prexus, the Ocean Lord. I am glad to see you have an interest. Forgive me if I cut our conversation short, but I have many [Deepwater tasks] to complete.'

You say, 'What Deepwater tasks?'

Weligon Steelherder says 'We here at the Deepwater Temple must tend to the [Peacekeeper battlestaff] and the [Deepwater harpoon] as well as other duties such as [ocean protection]. There is always something we must do.'

You say, 'What Deepwater harpoon?'

Weligon Steelherder says 'We do not award the Deepwater harpoon to just any paladin. Nobility is all well and good, but you must still prove yourself. We have heard rumors of a very distressing matter. Perhaps it is your calling. Are you ready to [prove allegiance to Erudin] and earn the Deepwater harpoon?'

You say, 'I am ready to prove allegiance to Erudin.'

Weligon Steelherder says 'Yes, you are ready. We have heard rumors of a great bridge which will connect Antonica with Odus!! This must not happen! We must shield ourselves from the savage and evil ways of the other races. They say that a list exists. A list of three grand architects who wish to see this bridge erected. You will venture to Qeynos and find the list, then exterminate these three men. Return the list along with their heads and the Deepwater Harpoon is yours. Go!!'

You say, 'Hail, Hansl Bigroon'

Hansl Bigroon says 'Greetings, ______! Are you a [citizen of Qeynos] or are you a [traveler of sorts]?'

You say, 'I am a traveler of sorts.'

Hansl Bigroon says 'Ah, yes! Traveling can be truly dangerous. Have you ever been to Erudin or do you not care for that place?'

You say, 'I have been to Erudin.'

Hansl Bigroon says 'The trip to Erudin takes far too long. I have been designing a [titanic bridge] which will shorten the trip. Well, I cannot take full credit, most of the plans are being designed by [three great engineers].'

You say, 'What titanic bridge?'

Hansl Bigroon says 'My grand plan has always been to erect a bridge which would span the distance between Qeynos and Odus. It would bypass the city of Erudin. Antonius Bayle would take full control of the bridge and its adjacent territories. This has had some opposition in Erudin, but for the most part, they just believe it is impossible to build such a bridge.'

You say, 'Hail, Purchin Oddsbot'

Purchin Oddsbot says 'That was not a very intelligent thing to do.'

You say, 'Hail, Jogl Doobraugh'

Jogl Doobraugh says 'Hellooo!! My name is Jogl, master engineer with the Eldritch Collective. And this here is Charlotte. Pay no mind to her, she won't bite unless you attack me.'

Jogl Doobraugh says 'The power of the Eldritch Collective shall put an end to your vile life.'

You say, 'Hail, Trantor Everhot'

Trantor Everhot says 'Yes, yes!! I am a very busy man. I've got blueprints to work on, [dwarven wire] to perfect and formulae to calculate. In between those tasks, I have to find time to head down to Irontoe's and down a few Tumpy Tonics.'

Weligon Steelherder says 'It is done!! I pray to Prexus that the knowledge of the bridge's design has departed from this world with the passing of these intelligent men. A pity they had to die. As for you, the other states may not tolerate your presence any longer, but you have proven that allegiance to Erudin is paramount among all Erudites. I am afraid the [harpoon is no more]!! I bestow upon you Deep Six, my personal cutlass!! May you wield it in the name of Erudin.'

Tiam Khonsir says 'Well, Weligon Steelherder, that is unfortunate. Quite a pity, indeed.'

You say, 'Why is the harpoon no more?'

Weligon Steelherder says 'The Deepwater harpoon's distribution has been restricted by order of the High Council. The last one awarded was to an outsider, the brave and noble paladin, Sentry Xyrin. She hailed from the Temple of Marr.'
